Thankful at 17 💜

Yes, you read the title right! I’m now 17 years of age. And to tell you guys honestly, I really don’t know what struggles / challenges / hindrances I might face. Let’s just say I’m waiting and I’m ready for it. Well, some people think that being 17 year old is “nearly legal age” (well 1 more year and I’m already 18) and I think being in this age means additional responsibilities as a teenager.

Hmmmm, honestly speaking, I feel myself slowly maturing as days passed by. I started to realized that having and celebrating your birthday every year isn’t about gifts, or how much it costs or even if it’s a branded thing but I really do appreciate the simple yet memorable greetings, the experiences I had the past months, the responsibilities and tasks I was given at hand and of course the decisions that I chose and made.

As a 17 year old crazy little girl (LOL), I choose to stay positive in every aspect of my life no matter what happen and circumstances are, and hey I should not be afraid if I might fail, I might get hurt because I know after that I learned something important. I should be happy and and enjoy every moment in my life.

But anyways, I know that I shouldn’t expect a merry-go-round or a happy-go-lucky life, but a fast 360 degree messed up roller coaster that has ups and downs. Well, I can say that I am proud of what I am today and will always be proud in the future. And let’s see what awaits in the end. And I finally started my blog this year. ( just want to share what I want in this simple corner of the internet) . Maybe this is now part of my life as a student, friend, daughter, sister and others. And yeah! Here’s to being a seventeen year old! cheers!
